Chapter 8 MODBUS Communications
8.1 Communication Hardware Interface
The ASDA-A and ASDA-A+ series servo drives have three modes of communication: RS-232, RS-485, and
RS-422. All aspects of control, operation and monitoring as well as programming of the controller can be
achieved via communication. However, only one communication mode can be used at a time. Users can
select the desired communication mode via parameter P3-05.
