Playing files

Load a CD-R or CD-RW disc containing music files in the
MP3 or WMA formats into the disc tray (vpage63).

Press SOURCE to select the playback media mode to
“DISC” (vpage28).

Press MODE to select the folder mode or disc mode.
n About the display
•When “Folder mode” is selected
All the files in the selected folder are played.
•When “Disc mode” is selected
After the selected folder and files are played, all the files in all
the folders are played.

Use ui to select the folder to be played.

Use o p to select the file to be played.

MODE
Switch to Folder playback mode
•Playing back only within the selected
folder.
RANDOM
During random playback, the playback
range becomes “Disc mode”.
•Can be set during stop.
REPEAT
Repeat playback
•Switching between Single-track repeat
and All-track repeat.

•The folder and file numbers are set automatically when the disc is loaded.
NOTE
•Programmed playback is not possible with MP3/WMA discs.
•Copyright-protected files cannot be played.
Note that depending on the software used for burning and other conditions, some
files may not play or display correctly.
