7.6 SEATS AND SAFETY HARNESSES
To increase passive safety, the seats are constructed using a carbon fiber/Kevlar hybrid
material and GFRP. The seats are removable to allow maintenance and inspection of
the underlying controls. Covers on the control sticks prevent loose objects from falling
into the area of the controls.
The seats have removable furnishings.
The seats are fitted with four-point safety harnesses. To put on the safety belt, slip the
arms through the belts and buckle the left and right belts. Adjust the length of the lap belts
so that the buckle is centered around your waist. The shoulder belts are adjusted
automatically.
Tighten the belts securely. The belt is opened by lifting the lock buckle.
