4.5.1 Capture File Options
File Directory: The directory (folder) where the Capture Files will be located. The
example will place the files on the computers desktop.
File Prefix: The letters that will be at the beginning of each Capture File created. The
debug Monitor will also include the date and time in the file name.
File Extension: The extension for the Capture File. “Log” is customary, but you
may wish to change it to “Txt” so you can load the file in your word
processor.
Open Using: Should the program start a new file each time a capture is started or
append to the last file used.
Convert To: Convert output to the file to:
Printable: Easily printed on any printer.
ASCII Format:
HEX Format:
Max Lines: Maximum number of entries in each file. Prevents the file from
becoming so large that it hard to work with. 500 is the default.
Max Files: The maximum number of capture files to create. This will prevent the
captures from filling up the hard disk on the computer.
Eol Character #1-3: End of Line Character. This character will signal to the Debug
Monitor the end of the current line. Up to 3 different End Of Line Characters
can be selected.
Enabled: When selected, enables the Capture File output.
