Start
Standard Operation
1. Ensure all controls are in neutral.
2. Set parking brake.
3. Activate accessories using ignition switch.
4. Enter operator passcode, if required.
5. If starting machine in normal conditions, start engine and run at low throttle under light load for at
least one minute before applying heavier load.
If starting machine in cold weather:
5.1 Start engine.
5.2 Set parking brake.
5.3 Warm engine and hydraulic fluid by gradually increasing engine speed for up to 30 minutes.
5.4 After warmup, carefully operate all hydraulic controls at low throttle until controls operate as
described in controls chapter.
IMPORTANT: If operation becomes locked out due to too many password attempts, follow on-
screen prompts and contact your Ditch Witch dealer.
