Start
1. Clear area around machine of all bystanders.
2. Ensure all controls are returned to neutral.
3. If necessary, use choke control to start cold engine.
4. Move throttle to 1/4 open.
5. Turn ignition switch to START position to crank engine.
6. Release key when engine starts.
7. Run engine at half throttle or less for five minutes before operating pedestrian vibratory plow. During
warm-up, check that all controls work properly.

To help avoid injury: Wear hard hat, safety glasses, and other protective equipment required by job.
Do not wear jewelry or loose clothing that can catch on controls.
Fire or explosion possible.
To help avoid injury: Do not use starter fluid.
IMPORTANT: If engine does not start, turn ignition switch to OFF position and check for fuel
blockage or electrical system problems.
