Adjust Wheel Track Tension
Adjust wheel track tension on both sides when
tracks are replaced.
To adjust:
1. Park machine on level and firm ground.
2. Lay straight edge on top of track, spanning
from sprocket to front idler roller.
3. Loosen exterior jam nut (1).
4. Turn bolt (2) counterclockwise until distance
between track and straight edge is 1/4”
(6 mm).
5. Tighten exterior jam nut (1).
To test:
Drive forward one track length and check tension with straight edge:

MACHINE Adjust wheel track tension
Replace in-line fuel filter
Clean hydraulic fluid cooler
Check battery
Charge battery
PLOW Clean feed tube
Replace sod cutter and blade
Check plow blade bolts 160 ft•lb (217 N•m)
IMPORTANT:
• If tension is too loose, tighten bolt (2).
• If tension is too tight, loosen bolt.
