unit is feet, then the altitude rate unit will be feet/minute; if the pressure unit is hectopascal,
then the pressure rate unit will be hectopascal/minute, and so on.
To permanently store new measure units as default in the MPS49 non-volatile memory, use
the same procedures for permanent storage of new limits, as described in paragraph 8.2.
4.6 AOA DISPLAY
The Status Screen only shows four numbers at a time. For example, FIG 5 displays
altitude, airspeed and the corresponding rates. As explained in paragraph 4.3.1, the SHIFT
and – (negative) keys open a menu that actions a change to visualization.
Other screens, like the Leak Screen (paragraph 4.3.2) and the Multiple Isolator Screen (FIG
19) automatically enable or disable AoA visualization.
If the AoA is controlled, but not displayed (for instance, the Operator selected airspeed rate
display), a small “AoA” label appears in the lower-left corner of the screen (FIG 6).
