2. On the PC, search for Bluetooth device. The MPS49 will be detected as “MPS49
S/N xxxx”, where “xxxx” is the serial number of the unit.
3. Enter the PIN code “xxxx0000” to pair the devices. The PIN code is the serial
number of the unit, followed by four zeroes.
12.2.2 WI-FI
A Wi-Fi dongle allows the MPS49 to be controlled over a TCP/IP connection on a Wireless
LAN.
1. Connect the Wi-Fi adapter, wait for 5 seconds and select Wi-Fi REMOTE mode.
2. On the PC, search for wireless networks. The MPS49 will be detected as “MPS49
S/N xxxx”, where “xxxx” is the serial number of the unit.
3. Use the password “xxxx0” to connect to the Wi-Fi network. The password is the
serial number of the unit, followed by one zero. The IP address of the PC will be set
automatically.
4. The MPS49 accepts connections at IP address 192.168.0.1, on TCP port 1234.
