Switch 4 of each DIL switch is connected in parallel with the purge switch
on the head. Switch 4 sets purge to continuous for "burning in" a head.
The stroke/column value in the table refers to the internal stroke division
which is applied to determine the basic width of the printed characters.
This division must be taken into consideration when using a shaft encoder.
Note: On start-up the Macrojet 2 will read the DIL switch selection. If
they require resetting, switch the machine OFF and then reset
the DIL switches. If the Macrojet 2 is not switched OFF it will
ignore any changes to the DIL switch settings.
