Electrical Supply
WARNING: The earth (ground) connection for the printer
must be correct and secure for the safety of
personnel. An inadequate earth (ground)
connection could also result in unreliable
operation or component failure.
Macrojet 2 requires an input voltage in the range 110V to 260V, 50/60 Hz.
The power cable is supplied with a moulded connector (US) or three wires
(UK and Europe) which must be connected as follows:
•Brown - line
Blue - neutral
Yellow/green - earth (ground).
The printer should be connected using a suitable plug and socket outlet
which is accessible and close to the equipment, so that power can be
quickly disconnected. If a fused power connector is used, it should be
fitted with a 10A fuse. If a fused power connector is not used, then the
supply circuit should have a circuit breaker or fuse rated at 10A.
The voltage selector must be set to the supply voltage and the correct
fuses fitted into the power switch (see
page 4-30).
The supply must be free from electrical noise. Domino can provide advice
on suitable devices to ensure trouble-free operation.
Note: Check all internal connections as detailed below before
switching on the printer.
