Print Head connection details
Set the aspect ratio DIL switches for the new head (see page A-8).
Complete fitting the print head as follows:
(1) Stick a number label onto the new print head.
(2) Reconnect the input power supply and switch the printer on. When
the pump has pressurised the system, check for leaks.
(3) Bleed the ink system by opening the bleed valve on the cabinet rear
panel, using a container or tissue to catch the ink escaping from the
vent. Close the valve when all air has been released.
(4) Bleed the new print head (see page 4-8).
(5) Replace the cabinet cover.
(6) Check the dot size produced by the new head (see page 3-9). If
necessary adjust the solenoids (see page 3-9).
