Explanation
35. Power assist function
activation angle

Adjustment of door activation angle for Power Assist function
(hF).
Higher hA settings result in better spring force compensation for
easier manual opening.
Power assist function is more sensitive the smaller the activation
angle value.
36. Power assist function
(force adjustment) (v1.7)
0 – 10 0 hF is force adjustment setting for Power assist function.
The greater the adjusted value, the easier the door can be
manually opened from activation angle hA.
Power assist function is available only in door closer mode
(hd=1 - manual mode).
Power assist function is enabled when hF is set to any value but
"0".
Power assist function hF is enabled when power assist activation
angle hA is reached.
Power assist function is not available when operator is switched
OFF, or a smoke detectors or an emergency stop pushbutton
has been triggered.
Door may open unintentionally if Power assist support function
is adjusted too high!
37. Support for manual
mode in closed
position (v1.9)
0 – 10 0 hS is force adjustment setting for Power assist function support
with door in closed position at power assist activation angle hA.
hS is available only in door closer mode (hd=1 - manual mode).
The greater the value, the easier it is to open door manually-
from closed position.

When ED 100 or ED250 is installed at smoke / fire doors with
application in preventative fire protection, upgrade card Fire
Protection is required for compliance with guidelines for hold-
open devices.
In addition to its smoke detector connection (as monitored
current loop), this card also offers a manual reset function (by
opening door), a full energy function, and system may be
triggered at door.
Note: no additional Full energy upgrade card is required.

ED 100: driving speed can be increased to a maximum of
