Explanation
46. Backcheck when door
is manually opened
5 – 40
(v1.9)
Degrees
10
Backcheck is angle from which door will be decelerated during
manual opening cycles.
Backcheck level is automatically optimized during manual door
opening cycles. This function improves door's braking behavior
in end position so that door does not move beyond set opening
angle (v1.7).
The input value is subtracted from set opening angle.
For example: Opening angle: 90°, bc parameter: 12°,
=> Backcheck starts at 78°.
Opening angle: 90°, bc parameter: 30°,
=> Backcheck starts at 6.
47. Door thickness
0 – 99
0 - 3 7/8"
mm
35
Inches
1-3/8
Parameter is Td. Parameter is entered in mm.
Door thickness has an influence on measured door opening
angle.
Parameter Td enables actual door thickness to be entered, if a
more more precise value is required.
48. Deactivation of drive
function – tigger type
(v1.7)
0 – 1 0 NC contact
Drive function is deactivated when NC contact is open.
This selection must be used for lock switches equipped with a
changeover or NC contact.
1 NO contact
Drive function is deactivated when NO contact is closed.
This selection must be used for lock switches equipped with
only a NO contact.
49. Night/Bank (X1- 35, 3)
– trigger type (v1.7)
0 – 1 0
NO contact
Night/Bank function is triggered when NO contact is closed.
NO contact is preferable when using a key switch or an access
control system.
1
NC contact
Night/Bank function is triggered when NC contact is open.
NC contact is frequently used when connecting to a heat and
smoke vent, or building management systems to trigger doors
(signal present normally).
50. Trigger the hold-open
system by manually
closing door
0 – 1 1 Function activated
When Upgrade card - Fire Protection is installed, hold-open
system can be released by moving door manually in closing
direction.
Manual triggering of release of hold-open system takes place
from learned keep-open position by manually closing door by
10° (± 2°).
No manual release pushbutton is required.
0 Function deactivated
Manual triggering of hold-open system release function by
moving door manually from hold-open position is deactivated.
A manual release pushbutton is required for manual triggering
of release of the hold-open system.
51. Castor angle for
double doors
0 – 30 degrees
30
Parameter sets angle active door must reach before passive door
starts to open.
52. Hinge clearance
+ 5 to - 5 3 Hinge clearance is decisive for calculated door opening angle.
It has only a small impact, but its value can be adjusted to
increase accurracy in extreme cases.
Basic setting for HS parameter is "3" for 30 mm (1 3/16") door.
With CPD (center-pivoted doors), setting must be changed to a
negative value. A learning cycle is then required, as the system
creates a table with the respective angles, which is based on
the adjusted parameter.
