Software installation
A software update should only be performed following and if requested through a Technical
Bulletin. Special attention should be paid to the compatibility of the software with the hardware of
the printer.
Procedure to upload LO5.X software
The following outlines installation of the software to a Compact Flash card:
• Obtain the LO5.X image software version (please contact DS)
• Download and install a disk cloning software (HDClone for instance)
• Insert the LASER Compact Flash in the Card reader of your computer
Before starting any operations, it is mandatory to make a copy of all the data previously
inserted as messages, not standard font… The data will be lost during the upload of the
new software version on Compact Flash.
• Start the disk cloning software;
if you use HD Clone then click
on “Switch to classic View”
(bottom left).
• Select Copy Mode from Image
(*.img) to Drive (Compact
Flash). Click on Next
