Getting started
7.2.2 LED light panel check
Inspect the LED panel for any broken light elements.
7.2.3 Device damage check
Inspect all device assemblies for signs of breakage.
7.2.4 Radiometer check (if equipped)
1 Press the key until the Radiometer screen is displayed.
2 To obtain the irradiance measurement, position the radiometer sensor close to
the patient’s skin without touching the patient. Confirm that the Radiometer
screen displays the current irradiance measurement.
3 Press the Store button on the radiometer or the Store button on the radiometer
screen. Confirm that the Last stored information at the bottom of the screen is
updated.

7.2.5 Spring arm check (if equipped)
1 Check the spring arm adjustment:
 Pull up and push down on the spring arm. Confirm that it moves smoothly
and maintains set position.
 Move the spring arm from side to side. Confirm that it moves smoothly and
maintains set position.
2 Check the phototherapy light adjustment:
 Rotate the phototherapy light clockwise and counterclockwise. Confirm that it
moves smoothly and maintains set position.
 Move the phototherapy light up and down. Confirm that it moves smoothly
and maintains set position.
7.2.6 Trolley check (if equipped)
1 Check the castors and locks:
 Press down on the castor locks and ensure that the castors do not move.
 Pull up on the castor locks to unlock the castors.
 Roll the trolley and confirm that all 4 castors operate.
 Lock the castors.
2 Check the trolley pole adjustment:
 Turn the adjustment knob counterclockwise to loosen.
 Pull up and push down on the pole extension and confirm it moves smoothly.
 Turn the adjustment knob clockwise to tighten. Confirm that the pole
extension is secured.
