Operation
The table below shows the area of the mattress that is illuminated at distances of
30 cm, 40 cm, and 50 cm.
8.3 Starting therapy
1 Ensure that the patient’s eyes are protected by eye shields.
2 Press the key on the control panel to turn on the phototherapy light. The
LED indicators also turn on to indicate irradiance intensity.
3 Adjust the irradiance to the desired level using the and intensity keys
on the control panel.
The phototherapy screen shows the elapsed therapy time in hours and minutes.
(A). The colon (":") in the therapy time (B) blinks on and off to indicate that therapy
is in progress.
Therapy will continue until one of the following occurs:
– Therapy is paused or ended by the user.
– The device is turned off via the on/off switch.
– The device loses power.
