c. If the measured value is outside the
measurement range of 20 mg/dL or
340 μmol/L, the display shows “---”
and the user should contact the
physician.
NOTE:
If the instrument is inactive for more than 60 seconds, the backlight on
the display goes out.
7. To take another measurement, press
the Reset button, and continue from step 4.
8. To stop measuring, perform the following:
a. Set the Power switch to the Off position.
b. Using medicinal alcohol, clean the measuring probe.
c. Place the Jaundice Meter on the charger unit. When the
Jaundice Meter is not in use, keep it in the charger unit with the
display facing forward.
