patient

connected:

the
MV
setting
and
adjust
according
to
the
patient.

the
airway
pressure
on
the
pressure
gauge.

desired
Pmax.
The
»Paw«
setting
limits
the
airway
pressure.
If
the
set
»Paw«
value
is
exceeded,
the
airway
pressure
is
reduced
below
the
Pmax
value.
Inspiration
is
continued.
See
the

(t).
Watch
the
pressure
gauge
and
take
note
of
alarm
conditions
in
order
to
recognise
incorrect
ventilation
at
an
early
stage
and
prevent
danger
to
the
patient.
By
limiting
the
pressure
during
the
inspiration
time,
a
pressure
limited,
inconstant
volume,
controlled
ventilation
pattern
is
obtained.
