Mounting the ventilation valve
1 C heck that the red non-return valve is securely seated
in the diaphragm and lies flat on the diaphragm.
2 I n sert the diaphragm in the valve housing, with the red
non-return valve facing the housing.
3 T he bead of the diaphragm must lie flat and flush on
the edge of the housing.
4 F i t the cover. Press down and turn 45° clockwise =
lock.
Visually check that the diaphragm fits uncreased in
the housing.
5 F i t the ventilation hose to the ventilation valve port
marked "Inspiration".
6 F i t the ventilation hose to the connector on the
ventilator.
