Reprocessing
3.5.3 Machine cleaning with thermal disinfection
Use a washer-disinfector that meets the requirements of the standard ISO 15883.
Dräger recommends the use of a load carrier for anesthesia accessories and
ventilation accessories. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for the washer-
disinfector.
Components:
– Lower part of the breathing system
– Upper part of the breathing system
– Inspiratory port and expiratory port
–APL valve
– Inspiratory valve (red) and expiratory valve (blue)
– Absorber container and absorber insert
– Flexible breathing bag arm (option)
– TurboVent 2 blower module
– CLIC adapter (option)
Prerequisites:
– The washer-disinfector has been prepared in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions.
NOTE
Breathing system
At least 250 reprocessing cycles are possible.
NOTE
TurboVent 2 blower module
Number of reprocessing cycles:
– For machine reprocessing, at least 30 reprocessing cycles are possible.
– For manual reprocessing, at least 60 reprocessing cycles are possible.
