DRESSTA TD-25M EXTRA
BULLDOZER PUSH ARMS
5. INSTALLATION
Right Push Arm
1. Position the push arm (28, Fig. 17.1) so that the bracket (5) and the rear of the push arm is up
against the trunnion (24).
2. Position trunnion cap (2, Fig. 17.5) over the trunnion and connect it to push arm (6) with the
two bolts and nuts. Be sure to tighten the bolts evenly. Determine the number of shims (7)
needed to fill the gap between cap (2) and push arm (6), then add one additional shim to
provide clearance. Remove the bolts, add the number of shims (7) required, install the bolts
and torque to 2100 [Nm].
3. Align the pin hole in push arm (28, Fig. 17.1) with the holes in blade bracket (5). Insert the push
arm mounting pin (6) so that the groove in the pin is on the side of blade bracket (5) with the
tapped holes. Secure the pin (6) with the pin retainer (7).
4. If removed, install two hoses (4 and 5, Fig. 17.5) in the push arm (6).
5. Connect two hoses (4 and 5, Fig. 17.5) to the trunnion (1).
6. Install the cover (1, Fig. 17.4) to the push arm (3) and secure with bolts (2).
7. Position the eye of the diagonal strut (26, Fig. 17.1) in the bracket on the side of the push arm
(28) so that the pin holes are aligned. Insert the mounting pin (25) through the bracket, aligning
the lock holes. Secure the pin (25) with the locking hardware.
8. Machine with Blade Tilt: Install the blade tilt cylinder (27, Fig. 17.1) to the machine as described
in SECTION 10C, Paragraph 10, INSTALLATION.
9. Machine with Blade Tilt/pitch: Install the blade tilt cylinder (27A, Fig. 17.1) to the machine as
described in SECTION 10C, Paragraph 20, INSTALLATION.
10. Remove the blocks from under push arm (28).
Left Push Arm
1. Position the push arm (23, Fig. 17.1) so that the bracket (8) and the rear of the push arm is up
against the trunnion (24).
3. Align the pin hole in push arm (23, Fig. 17.1) with the holes in blade bracket (8). Insert the push
arm mounting pin (6) so that the groove in the pin is on the side of blade bracket (8) with the
tapped holes. Secure the pin (6) with the pin retainer (7).
4. Machine with Blade Tilt/pitch: If removed, install two hoses (4 and 5, Fig. 17.5) in the push arm
(6). Connect hoses (4 and 5, Fig. 17.5) to the trunnion (1).
5. Install the cover (1, Fig. 17.4) to the push arm (3) and secure with bolts (2).
6. Position the eye of the diagonal strut (26, Fig. 17.1) in the bracket on the side of the push arm
(23) so that the pin holes are aligned. Insert the mounting pin (25) through the bracket, aligning
the lock holes. Secure the pin (25) with the locking hardware.
7. Machine with Blade Tilt: Position the eye of the upper strut (21, Fig. 17.1) in the bracket on top
of the push arm (23) so that the pin holes are aligned. Insert pin (22) through the bracket,
aligning the lock holes. Secure the pin (22) with locking hardware.
8. Machine with Blade Tilt/pitch: Install the blade tilt/pitch cylinder (21A, Fig. 17.1) to the machine
as described in SECTION 10C, Paragraph 15, INSTALLATION.
9. Remove the blocks from under push arm (23).
