WARNING
Use universal precautions when handling laboratory
specimens. All human specimens of blood, blood
compounds, or bodily fluids are potentially
biohazardous and may contain Hepatitis B virus,
Hepatitis C virus, Human immunodeficiency virus or
other disease causing agents. For the safety of both
the operator and service personnel, care should be
taken when handling substances that are known to
be toxic, radioactive, or contaminated with
pathogenic microorganisms when using this
centrifuge. When Risk Group II materials are used
(as identified in the World Health Organization
“Laboratory Bio-Safety Manual”) the use of a Bio-
Seal should be employed. More than one level of
protection must be provided in the case of materials
of a higher group. The use of flammable or
explosive materials as well as those materials
which chemically react vigorously is prohibited. Any
use of the equipment in a manner not specified in
these instructions may impair the level of protection
provided by the equipent.

Beachten Sie allgemein vorgesehene Vorsichts-
maßnahmen beim Umgang mit Laborproben. Alle
menschlichen Proben von Blut, Blutverbindungen
oder Körperflüssigkeiten sind potenziell
biogefährlich und können Hepatitis-B-Viren,
Hepatitis-C-Viren, das Immunsystem beeinträchti-
gende Viren und andere Krankheitserreger
enthalten. Im Hinblick auf die Sicherheit sowohl des
Bedieners als auch des Servicepersonals ist bei der
Handhabung von Stoffen, die als toxisch, radioaktiv
oder mit pathogenen Mikroorganismen kontaminiert
sind, bei der Verwendung dieser Zentrifuge Vorsicht
geboten. Bei der Verwendung von Materialien der
Risikogruppe II (wie im "Labor-
Biosicherheitshandbuch" der Weltgesundheits-
organisation festgelegt), sollte die Verwendung
eines Bio-Siegels verwendet werden. Bei Materialien
einer höheren Gruppe muss mehr als ein
Schutzniveau vorgesehen werden. Die Verwendung
von brennbaren oder explosiven Materialien sowie
der Materialien, die chemisch stark reagieren, ist
verboten. Jede Verwendung des Gerätes in einer in
dieser Anleitung nicht genannten Weise kann das
Schutzniveau des Gerätes beeinträchtigen.
