ThePowerSeriesNeoAlarmSystemsupportsavarietyofwireless,hardwiredandproximity
sensorLCD,LEDandIconkeypads.AllkeypadscomeequippedwiththeLEDstatuslights
describedinsection1"QuickReference".HS2LCDserieskeypadsdisplaysystemmessageson
theirLCDscreen.HS2ICNserieskeypadsdisplaymessagesasdescribedin2.1“IconandLED
KeypadSymbols”.HS2LEDserieskeypadsdisplaymessagesviaaseriesofnumberedLEDsas
describedin2.1“IconandLEDKeypadSymbols”.
AllkeypadversionswillhaveasolidblueLEDbarthatisalwaysonsteadyexceptwhen,if
enrolled,aproximitytagispresentedtoandsuccessfullyreadbythekeypad.
2.1 Icon and LED Keypad Symbols

1. ClockDigits1,2 Thesetwo7segmentclockdigitsindicatethehourdigitswhenthe
localclockisactive.Digit2isalsousedtoidentifythezonenum-
berasthe1whenthezonenumberis100orhigherandtheOPEN
orALARMiconsareactive.
2. :(Colon) Thisiconisthehours/minutesdividerandwillflashonceper
secondwhenthelocalclockisactive.
3. ClockDigits3,4 Thesetwo7segmentdisplaysaretheminutedigitswhenthelocal
clockisactive.Thedigits3and4areusedtoindicatethezone
numberforopenzonesoralarminmemory.Thesetwodigitscom-
binedwiththeclockdigit2,scrollonezonepersecondfromthe
lowestnumbertothehighest,whenscrollingthroughzones.
4. 1to8 Thesenumbersidentifytroubleswhenispressed.
5. Memory Indicatesthattherearealarmsinmemory.
6. Bypass Indicatesthattherearezonesbypassed.
7. Program IndicatesthatthesystemisinInstallerorUser'sprogramming,or
thatthekeypadisbusy,andtheLEDwillflashincadenceof
250msONand250msOFF.IfAccessCodeisrequired,while
accessingstarmenus,thisLEDisONandsolidtoindicatethatthe
codeisrequired.
8. Away IndicatesthatthepanelisarmedintheAwayMode.
9. Fire Indicatesthattherearefireand/orCOalarmsinmemory.
10. Stay IndicatesthatthepanelisarmedintheStayMode.
