Rear brake pedal (fig. 22)
Push down on the pedal (1) with your foot to operate the
rear brake.
The brake system is hydraulic and very little force is
required to operate it.
Gear change pedal (fig. 23)
The gear change pedal is at rest when in the central
position N, and automatically returns to the central position.
When in this position, light N (8, fig. 6) on instrument panel
is on.
The pedal can be moved:
down = push down on the pedal to engage 1
st
gear and
to shift down. The N light will go out.
up = lift the pedal to engage the 2
nd
gear and then the 3
rd
,
4
th
, 5
th
and 6
th
gear.
Each time you move the pedal you will engage the next gear.
