Adjusting the position of the gear change and
rear brake pedals
The positions of the gear change pedal and brake pedal may
be adjusted relative to the footpeg to suit rider preferences.
Proceed as follows to change pedal position:
Gear change pedal (fig. 24)
Use an open ended spanner to hold the rod (1) on flat (2)
and slacken off lock nut (3).
Turn the screw (4) to detach the rod (1) from the gearchange
lever.
Turn the rod (1) by means of the flat (2) and move the pedal
to the required position.
Tighten the screw (4) to secure the gearchange lever to
the rod (1).
Tighten the lock nut (3) against the rod (1).
