Ҍ All parts mounted to the power unit and all other parts of the e-bike power unit must only
bereplacedwithpartsthatareidencalinconstruconorpartsthathavebeenspecically
approved for your e-bike by the bike manufacturer. This protects the power unit against
overloading and damage.
Ҍ Removethebaeryfromthee-bikebeforecarryingoutwork(e.g.inspecon,repair,
adjustmentormaintenance)onthee-bike,ortransporngitbycaroraircraorstoringit.
Accidentalacvaonofthee-bikesystemmayresultininjury.
Ҍ The walk assist feature must only be used while walking with the e-bike.
Ҍ There is a risk of injury if the wheels of the e-bike are not in contact with the ground while the
walk assist feature is used.
Ҍ Thepedalsalsoturnwhenthewalkassistfeatureisacvated.Whenusingthewalkassist
feature, ensure that your legs remain far enough from the turning pedals.
Ҍ Underextremecondions,suchasconnuedhighloadingatlowspeedswhileridinguphillor
whilecarryingheavyloads,partsofthetransmissionmayreachtemperaturesof>60°C.
Ҍ Aercycling,donottouchthepowerunitcasingwithoutprotecon.Underextreme
condions,suchasconnuedhightorquesatlowridingspeedsorwhileridinguphillorwhile
carrying heavy loads, the casing may reach very high temperatures. The temperature that the
casingofthepowerunitreachesisinuencedbythefollowingfactors:
- ambient temperature
- ridingprole(route/incline)
- rideduraon
- assist modes
- userbehaviour(owneort)
- total weight (cyclist, e-bike, baggage)
- motor cover of the power unit
- power unit type and gearing type
Ҍ UseonlyoriginalBoschbaeriesthathavebeenapprovedforyoure-bikebythe
manufacturer.Theuseofotherbaeriesmayleadtoinjuryandtheriskofre.Ifother
baeriesareused,Boschacceptsnoliabilityandoersnowarranty.
