5.2. Electric assist
Thee-bikeassistsyouwithcycling.Theelectricassistacvatesassoonasyoupushonthe
pedals,exceptinthe“OFF”posionorwhileusingthewalkassistfeature.
If you stop pedalling, the assist feature will also stop. This means you always remain in control of
the bike.
Theassistleveldependsontwofactors:
Ҍ The selected assist level.
Ҍ Theamountofeortexertedwhilepedalling.
Youcanselectthefollowingpedal-assistlevels,fromlowtohigh:
OFF No assistance. The e-bike works like a normal bike. Walk assist is disabled in this mode.
ECO Lightassistancewithmaximumeciencyformaximumcyclingrange.
TOUR+ Average assistance for a wide cycling range.
SPORT Highassistanceforsportcyclinginhillylandscapesandincitytrac.
TURBO Maximumassistancefordicultroutes.
Regardlessofthelevelyouselect,theassistleveladjustsautomacallytotheforceyouexerton
thepedals.Ifyouexertlessforce,theassistlevelwillbelowerthanifyouexertmoreforce.
Theassistfeatureautomacallydisengagesatspeedsabove25km/hforsafetyreasons.Ifyour
speeddecreases,theassistfeaturewillautomacallyengageagainwhenyoupedal.

You can also always use the e-bike as a normal bike without the assist feature by turning the
assist level to “OFF”.
5.3. How far can I cycle?
Youwillndanesmateoftheremainingrangeononeofthedisplayscreens.
In the screen with remaining range, press foranoverviewoftheesmatedrangeperpedal-
assistlevel.Usethistomakeyourownesmateofwhichlevelisbestforyourtrip.
Theactualrangeofthee-bikedependsonmanyfactors,forexample:
Ҍ Assist level.
Ҍ Speed.
Ҍ Gear use.
Ҍ Type of tyres and tyre pressure.
Ҍ Ageandstateofrepairofthebaery.
Ҍ Route (inclines) and surface (road surface type).
Ҍ Headwind and ambient temperature.
Ҍ Weight of the e-bike, cyclist and baggage.
Becauseofallthesefactors,itisnotpossibletodetermineexactlyhowfaryoucancyclewiththe
currentbaerylevelinadvance.Ingeneral,thefollowingapplies:
- Thelesseortyoumustexerttoreachacertainspeed,thelessenergythee-bikeneeds
and the greater the cycling range will be.
- The lower you set the assist level, the greater the cycling range will be.
