9.1. On-board computer
The on-board computer has an energy saving mode, which decreases the discharge rate of the
internalbaery.Thiscausesthedateandmetobelost.
Acvatethestoragemodebypressingtheon/obuonontheon-boardcomputerR for at
least eight seconds.

Iftheon-boardcomputerdoesnotstartupfollowingabriefpressontheon/offbutton,the
storage mode is active.
Leavethestoragemodebypressingtheon/obuonontheon-boardcomputerforatleast
two seconds.
9.2. Storingthebaeryduringlongperiodsofinacvity
Ifyouwillnotbeusingthee-bikeforlongerthanthreemonths,storethebaerywithacharge
levelofaround30%to60%(twotothreebaerylevelLEDs).
Checkthebaerylevelaersixmonths.IfonlyoneLEDilluminates,chargethebaeryto
around30%to60%.

CAUTION
Ifyoustorethebaeryemptyforalongperiodofme,itmaybedamageddespitethelowself-
dischargerate.Thiscangreatlydiminishthebaerycapacity.
Werecommendnotleavingthebaeryaachedtothechargerforlongperiodsofme.
9.2.1. Storagecondions
Thebaeryshouldpreferablybestoredinadry,wellvenlatedplace.Protectthebaeryagainst
dampandwater.Inpoorweathercondions,werecommendremovingthebaeryfromthe
e-bike and storing it in an enclosed space.
Storethebaery:
Ҍ in a space with smoke detectors.
Ҍ awayfromcombusbleorhighlyammablematerials.
Ҍ away from sources of heat.
Ҍ away from bright sunlight.
Ҍ attemperaturesbetween10°Cand20°C.

Ensurethatthemaximumtemperatureisnotexceeded.Forexample,thebatteryshouldnot
be left in the car in the summer.
