When0.02%ofthetimeTissmallerthan0.02seconds,themaximumdeviationis0.02seconds.
Example: Themaximumtoleranceperhour(3600seconds)is ±0.02%,whichisproportionalto ± 0.72
seconds.Themaximumtoleranceperminute(60seconds)is ± 0.02seconds.

Themaximumtiminginaccuracyis ± 5s/day.
6.4.3Backupofthereal-timeclock
Becausetheinternalreal-timeclockofanxLogicisbackedup,itcontinuesoperationafterapower
failure.Theambienttemperatureinfluencesthebackuptime.Atanambienttemperatureof25°C,the
typicalbackuptimeofxLogicis100hours.
6.4.4Retentivity
TheswitchingstatesandcountervaluesofSFscanbesetretentive.Thismeansthatcurrentdataisretained
afterapowerfailure,andthattheblockresumesoperationatthebreakpoint.Thetimerisnotreset,
butresumesoperationuntilthetime-to-gohasexpired,forexample,toenablethisresponse,however,
therelevantfunctionsmustbesetretentive.

6.4.5Parameterprotection
Intheparameterprotectionsettings,youcandeterminewhetherornottheparameterscanbedisplayed
andeditedinxLogicparameterassignmentmode.Twooptionsareavailable:
+:Theparameterattributepermitsread/writeaccessinparameterassignmentmode(default).
-:Theparametersettingsareread/writeprotectedinparameterassignmentmode,andcanbe
editedonlyinprogrammingmode.Seetheparameterprotectionmodeexampleinthe"Secondcircuit
program".
6.4.6Calculatingthegainandoffsetofanalogvalues
Asensorisconnectedtotheanaloginputandconvertsaprocessvariableintoanelectricalsignal.This
valueofsignallieswithinthetypicalrangeofthissensor.xLogicalwaysconvertstheelectricalsignalsat
theanaloginputintodigitalvaluesfrom0to1000.Avoltageof0to10V(orcurrentsignal0/420mA)
