Battery current limit function
The EFX48 limits the battery charging current to a proportion of the total specified battery
capacity.
The following parameter controls the battery current limit function:
Battery charge current limit 100% capacity in 1% steps
For example, if the battery charge current limit is set to 10% and the total battery capacity
is 100Ah, then the battery charging current will be limited to 10% of 100Ahr = 10A
.
Cell Equalisation function
If enabled in the configuration the equalise function performs a periodic equalisation of the
battery.
The following parameters can be set :
Equalise enable or disable
The first date and time for an equalise Time and Date
The duration of the equalise 5-900mins
The period between equalises 7-730 days
Equalise voltage 40.00 to 59.00V
When an equalisation is due to be performed the following qualification conditions need to be
met before an equalise is allowed:
Equalise Qualification Conditions
Must be true
System AC fail alarm condition not active
Equalisation is enabled
There must be no pending strings
Fast charge is not being performed
There is not a battery test in progress
Rect fail alarm or Multi rect alarm condition not active
Rectifier Comms alarm condition not active
System Overcurrent alarm condition not active
System Overload alarm condition not active
