Battery current limit function
The EFX48 limits the battery charging current to a proportion of the total specified battery
capacity.
The following parameter controls the battery current limit function:
• Battery charge current limit 100% capacity in 1% steps
 For example, if the battery charge current limit is set to 10% and the total battery capacity
is 100Ah, then the battery charging current will be limited to 10% of 100Ahr = 10A
.
Cell Equalisation function
If enabled in the configuration the equalise function performs a periodic equalisation of the
battery.
The following parameters can be set :
• Equalise enable or disable
• The first date and time for an equalise Time and Date
• The duration of the equalise 5-900mins
• The period between equalises 7-730 days
• Equalise voltage 40.00 to 59.00V
When an equalisation is due to be performed the following qualification conditions need to be
met before an equalise is allowed:
Equalise Qualification Conditions
Must be true
System AC fail alarm condition not active

Equalisation is enabled

There must be no pending strings

Fast charge is not being performed

There is not a battery test in progress

Rect fail alarm or Multi rect alarm condition not active

Rectifier Comms alarm condition not active

System Overcurrent alarm condition not active

System Overload alarm condition not active

