Alarm Indicators
Visual indicators
Power on, no alarm LED (green)
Power on, Alarm LED (red) – shows for all alarms of any severity
Audible indicator
• Beeps on keypress (if enabled in configuration)
• Alarm cadence when alarm is active (if enabled in configuration)
► To silence the audible indicator on alarm
• Press any button on the navigation switch
The audible indicator will cease while the navigation switch is being used.
► To cancel an active alarm
• Use the navigation switch and display active alarms (Alarms > Active)
• Wait until the alarm you wish to cancel is shown
• Press and hold
ENTER
to cancel the alarm
The alarm may re-activate immediately if the cause of the alarm has not been removed
► To enable/disable the audible alarm indicator
• Go to: Settings > Sound > Alarm Beeps.
EFX48 Operation Using a Laptop/PC
The preferred method for accessing, configuring and monitoring the operation of the EFX48
unit is a standard web browser. See section Communication via Web Browser on 82 for
recommended browser.
