INSTALLATION OF THE DIFFERENT CONNECTORS AND CORDS
Before powering the measurement device, ensure that the following accessories are installed,
and their plugs locked:
• The C5 safety plug (10 points) must be installed on the socket marked C5 (caution, there is
mechanical fool-proofing on the sockets)
• Connect the mains power cord to the rear panel and to a 16A wall socket with ground
IMPORTANT
If the mains power cord is replaced,
be sure to always use a mains cord
suitable for the power and
CE certified.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FITTING IN THE BAY
In cases when the SEFELEC 5x range device needs to be fitted in a bay, follow the instructions
below:
The dimensions of the device are: height 3U, width to the 19'’ standard, depth 520 mm with the
connectors. Use bays to the 19'' standard with a depth of 600 mm minimum.
1 - Take the references of the bay and use the in-bay mounting kit supplied by the brand.
For a device with a height = 3U the kit is usually composed of 2 runners and 4 screws
(Caution: take the runners to suit the depth of the bay).
2 - Preparation of the device: Remove the 4 feet by unscrewing the 4 screws (hexagon socket
head cap screws). Then remove the 2 screws on each side that hold the cover on the front of the
device (Torx socket head cap screws).

3- Equip the device of the SEFELEC 5x range with the kit: SEFA-KR. It consists of 2 brackets
and 4 screws (countersunk torx head).
