Operating mode
1. Press . The operating mode selection ap-
pears.
2. Use [][] to select the operating mode
(see chapter 5.5 „Operating modes“ on page
58).
3. Press [ok] to confirm your operating mode
selection.
Operating status
The EFOY Pro fuel cell undergoes a start phase
lasting up to 20 minutes. At the end of this phase, it
has reached its full rated output.
The EFOY Pro fuel cell charges the battery.
As long as the battery charge has a sufficient de-
gree, the EFOY Pro fuel cell remains in standby
mode and monitors the battery.
The EFOY Pro fuel cell shuts down charging mode.
To protect the components in the device, this pro-
cedure may take several minutes to complete.
The EFOY Pro fuel cell remains active to protect it-
self from the effects of freezing. For more informa-
tion, see chapter 5.6 "Automatic antifreeze feature"
on page 62.
The EFOY Pro fuel cell charges the battery auto-
matically in order to prevent deep discharge of the
battery.
Operation is interrupted because the ambient tem-
perature is too high. The EFOY Pro fuel cell
switches on again automatically as soon as opera-
tion can be resumed.
