The calibration of the gauge can be verified in the
field using the Elcometer Adhesion Verification
Unit ( ), part number T99923924, which
connects to the gauge. The pressure reading on
the Elcometer 506 indicator is compared with the
reading of the gauge pressure on the to
verify the calibration. For further information

The Elcometer 506 can be used with a range of dollies, also referred to
as test elements or stubs. 14.2, 20 and 50mm diameter dollies are
available to purchase as an optional accessory

50mm: Coatings on concrete, cementitious layers and uneven
surfaces can be tested more effectively with the larger
50mm dolly. Our 50mm dollies are also available in
stainless steel as required for testing in accordance with
DIN BS EN1048 part 2 and 12636.

20mm: suitable for use on a variety of coatings / substrates.
