2.7.10.2 Setup
There are no restrictions on the line interface setup for this measurement.
The following transmit modes are permitted for this measurement:
Off
Slope
2.7.10.3 Measurements and Controls
The following measurements are shown on the screen and updated continuously:
Receive freq: The frequency of the largest single tone at the receiver
Receive level: The level of the largest single tone at the receiver, regardless of the Setup screen filter
selection.
Receive level at 1004 Hz: The level of the last 1004 Hz tone that was detected for a sufficient period of time,
regardless of the Setup screen filter selection.
Receive level at 404 Hz: The level of the last 404 Hz tone that was detected. The display shows the relative level
compared to the Receive level at 1004 Hz.
Receive level at 2804 Hz: The level of the last 2804 Hz tone that was detected. The display shows the relative
level compared to the Receive level at 1004 Hz.
The following controls are shown on the screen:
Back: Return to the previous screen
Save: Store the Slope measurement results in text format to the USB flash inserted in the ATS-5X
USB port. If no valid drive is attached, a message is displayed to indicate this.
Setup: Show the Setup screen.
3 Maintenance
3.1 Software Update
NOTE: EXCERCISE CAUTION DURING THE SOFTWARE UPDATE! IF THE SOFTWARE UPDATE
PROCESS IS INTERRUPTED, THE ATS-5X CAN BE RENDERED INOPERABLE AND MUST BE
RETURNED TO THE FACTORY FOR REPAIR.
