The presence of the water sensor is automatically detected by the controller during power start-up.
This means that functions like temperature driven Hot start, centralised On/Off (only 2-pipe models), periodic valve
opening (only 2-pipe models) will be activated or not, depending on the presence of the water sensor.
The water sensor (analogue inputs) should always be mounted on the water pipe, upstream of the valve and as close as
possible to the battery. On a 4-pipe system, it must always be mounted on the hot water circuit, never on the cold water
circuit.
