Why Eliwell RGF 312 Controller unit supplied but load does not activate?
    • P
      pateldanaAug 14, 2025
If the Eliwell Controller unit is supplied but the load doesn't activate, possible causes include: * Absence of one or two phases (AC LINE Led on): Check supply connections and input phases. * The load is not connected: Check for electrical interruptions between the regulator and the load. * No control signal: Check sensors for correct operation (return voltage) and connections to terminal board MA. * Incorrect operating mode (direct, reverse) and set-points not adequate for signal control: Check P3 trimmer calibration and positions of jumpers J8/J9, J2/J3, J10/J11/J12. * Maximum voltage supplied to lower load at minimum starting voltage: Check P4 trimmer calibration. * Remote STOP (ON-OFF) (MB 4, 5 contacts closed): Check STOPS 4, 5 control contact on MB terminal board.

What to do if Eliwell RGF 312 protection fuses burn out?
    • M
      Mark MartinezAug 17, 2025
If the protection fuses in your Eliwell Controller burn out, consider these potential causes and solutions: 1. Regulator undersized for load used: Check the powers involved, as well as starting and operating currents. 2. Interference on supply lines: Inspect the supply line and, if necessary, install mains or 'surge' filters upstream of the cutting regulators. 3. By-pass configuration with short-circuited phases: Verify the correspondence of input and output phases.

Why Eliwell RGF 312 Controller cutting regulators supplies the maximum voltage load regardless of control signal?
    • W
      Warren DanielsAug 21, 2025
If, after operating correctly for some time, your Eliwell Controller's cutting regulators supply the maximum voltage load regardless of the control signal, this could be due to: * Lack of ventilation and/or high working temperature in the unit: Ensure the unit is mounted vertically and check the room temperature where the unit is installed. * Detection transducer faulty or short-circuited: Check the input control voltage (MA terminal board).

What to do if Eliwell RGF 312 Controller has suspended regulation and Led TK ALARM is on?
    • G
      Gary MorrisAug 25, 2025
If the Eliwell Controller has suspended regulation and the Led TK ALARM is on: * Check unit reset type (see position of jumper J13). * Check activation of the safety device and the cause of the intervention.

Why Eliwell RGF 312 tension can be read on outlet terminal heads to load but motor does not start?
    • Z
      zachary39Aug 28, 2025
If you can read tension on the outlet terminal heads to the load (circa 370 VAC) but the motor doesn't start with your Eliwell Controller, it could be because: * The load is not connected to regulator terminals: Check the electromagnetic switch or motor/regulator connection sectioner. * Check the motor heat protection.

Why Eliwell RGF 312 Controller unit regulates load in ON - OFF operation?
    • C
      Christopher WardAug 31, 2025
If your Eliwell Controller unit regulates the load in ON-OFF operation, the causes and solutions include: * Proportional band too "narrow" with respect to system response: Increase the proportional band value with trimmer P2. * CUT-OFF too high (80%): Decrease the value of P6.

Why Eliwell Controller cutting regulators supplies voltage to the load but load does not activate?
    • J
      Joshua HernandezSep 3, 2025
If the Eliwell Controller's cutting regulators supply voltage to the load, but the load does not activate, it could be because the minimum voltage supplied to the load is lower than needed for starting. To resolve this, check the P6 trimmer calibration.

What to do if Eliwell RGF 312 Controller has suspended regulation and Led AC LINE ALARM is on?
    • K
      Kara HowardSep 7, 2025
If the Eliwell Controller has suspended regulation and the Led AC LINE ALARM is on, it indicates that a fuse has burnt out or one of the supply phases is absent. Replace the supply line fuse and check the beginning of the line upstream.

Why Eliwell Controller output voltage constant even with control signal activated?
    • S
      Sherri HarrisSep 10, 2025
If the output voltage of your Eliwell Controller remains constant even with the control signal activated and the MANUAL (Heat-Pump mode) Led is on, it means that the MAN contact (heat-pump) is closed. To fix this, select the correct operating mode (NO contact) by activating contacts 2,3 of terminal board MB.
