FEED DOG HEIGHT
When the needle is at highest position with the presser foot at up position, the distance
between the presser foot and needle plate should be 1.0 to 1.2. (ref. Fig. 1).
Remove the Base, Rear and Front cover (see pages 4, 5, and 6).
Set the stitch length dial at 4.
Higher the presser foot and turn the fly wheel toward you until the feed dog comes to its
highest position.
1. Loosen the hexagon nut A. (ref. Fig. 2).
2. Turn the screw B to adjust the feed dog height.
3. Tighten the hexagon nut screw A.
4. Turn the fly wheel again and check the feed dog height.
Note:
Feed dog height gauge could be used to check this adjustment feed dog should be
closed to the gauge but without moving it (height of the gauge = 1.2 mm).
