NEEDLE CENTERING TO NEEDLE PLATE
The needle size 14 (Nm 90) should in the center (forwards / backwards) of the
hole of the needle plate.
1. Remove the face plate (see page 2)
2. Set the pattern selector dial at the left in straight sewing.
3. Loosen hexagonal socket screw A and move the needle bar supporter B to
adjust the centering.
4. Tighten screw A.
5. Check clearance between needle and hook (see page 15) and if it needs a
small correction, loosen the screw A and readjust the position of the needle
bar supporter B in order to have a clearance between 0 –0.15 mm.
6. Tighten screw A.
7. Attach the face plate (see page 2).
