NEEDLE THREAD TENSION
The standard needle thread tension should be 110 to 130 g when pulling a cotton
thread size Ne 50/3 with tension gauge in thedirection of B with setting the tension at “5”
(Fig. 1).
1. Remove the face plate (see page 3).
2. Remove the screw A
3. Remove the tension dial.
4. Turn the adjusting nut C in the direction of
D when the needle thread tension is too tight and
E when the needle thread tension is too loose.
Attach the face plate.
