Scallop
Edges
Some
of
the
scallop
motifs
can
be
used
to
attractively
finish
the
edges
of
collars,
pockets
and
placemats.
To
edge
a
collar,
place
interfacing
between
upper
and
under
collar
and
sew
the
pattern
on
the
seam
line.
After
sewing,
trim
fabric
close
to
stitching
taking
care
not
to
cut
the
scallops.

Applique
In
this
type
of
applique,
raw
edges
are

design

paper.

and
press

the
edge
to
form
