Built-in Needle Threader
Press the “Up/Down Needle” key q until the needle is in
an up position. Turn OFF the power switch. Lower the
presser foot.
Lower the needle threader lever w as far as it will go.
Hook eis automatically inserted into the needle eye.
Bring the thread around guide r and under hook e.
Slowly release the lever while holding the thread end and
let the needle threader return to its original position.
A loop of thread t is pulled through the needle eye.
Pull the thread loop off the guide to the back and
manually bring the thread through the needle eye.
• The needle threader can be used with #11 to #16 size
needles. Thread weight may vary from 30 to 100.
NOTE: Needle threader cannot be used with a twin
needle or wing needle.
If the needle threader does not catch a thread loop,
check the needle and positioning.
