6. Move the Operating Wrench (2) from the Lower Plate Carrier Shaft (6) located in the
Body (4) on the Upper Plate Carrier Shaft (7) located in the Top (14).
7. Rotate the Upper Plate Carrier Shaft (7) located in the Top (14) until the Plate Carrier
(8DM or 8DMC) stops against the Sealing Bar (9, 9HP).

8. Close the Equalizer Valve (1) with the Operating Wrench (2).
9. Using the Operating Wrench (2) rotate the Slide Valve Shaft (5) until it stops and the
CLOSED position specified on the Indicator Plate (5A) is in line with the Indicator Pointer
(5B).
