      If your Emerson Radar isn't showing a level reading, start by checking the power supply and the cables for serial data communication. Also, check if the 'Probe Missing' status is active and, if so, verify the probe connection. You may also need to view the Diagnostic window to check active status messages.

      If you're experiencing no HART communication with your Emerson Radar, begin by ensuring the correct COM Port is selected in the HART server. Check the wiring diagram and verify that the 250 ? resistor is in the loop. Inspect the cables and confirm the correct HART short address is being used; try address=0. Check the Analog Output current value to verify that transmitter hardware works. Also, verify that the correct settings are used in RRM. Select Device, Search from the menu. Click Settings and HART tab. Make sure the values are properly chosen. The standard values are shown on page 5-10

      If the Analog Out on your Emerson Radar is set in Alarm, it might be due to a measurement or transmitter failure. To find out the cause, view the Diagnostic window to check active error and status messages.
