Cleaning the Handpiece cord
Clean the surface of the handpiece cord using a cleaning wipe with proven efcacy (Enzol 2%).
Disinfect the surface of the cord using 70% isopropyl alcohol or other EPA recognized surface
disinfectant, following carefully the instructions provided by the disinfection solution manufacturer.
The use of scouring powder or an abrasive sponge will damage its surface.
Do not submerge the cord in a cleaning solution bath. It would be likely to be damaged.
Make sure the handpiece connection of the cord is dry.
