4 Incoming acceptance and product identification
4.1 Incoming acceptance
Check the following during incoming acceptance:
• Are the order codes on the delivery note and the product sticker identical?
• Are the goods undamaged?
• Does the data on the nameplate match the order specifications on the delivery note?
• If required (see nameplate), are the Safety Instructions (XA) provided?
If any one of these conditions is not met, contact your Endress+Hauser Sales Center.
4.1.1 Product identification
The following options are available for identification of the device:
• Nameplate specifications
• Extended order code with breakdown of the device features on the delivery note

All of the information on the measuring device and on the scope of the technical
documentation pertaining to the device is displayed.

Enter the serial number from the nameplate into the Endress+Hauser Operations App or
scan the 2-D matrix code on the nameplate.

4.2 Transport, storage and disposal
4.2.1 Storage conditions
Pack the device so that is protected against impact for storage and transport. The original
packaging offers the best protection for this. The permitted storage temperature is:
NaI (Tl) crystal
–40 to +80 °C (–40 to +176 °F)
PVT scintillator (standard)
–40 to +60 °C (–40 to +140 °F)
