Suppression of individual events
For individual events, the transmission to the bus can suppressed by the use of a mask. The
corresponding events will be displayed but not transmitted to the bus. In FieldCare, this mask
can be found at Expert → Communication → Field diagnostics → Alarm broadcast enable.
This mask functions as a negative mask, which means that, if a field is marked, the
corresponding events will not be transmitted to the bus.
