If the red LED on your Endress+Hauser Measuring Instruments is flashing, it could be due to several reasons. First, there might be an overload or short-circuit in the load circuit; try clearing the short-circuit and reducing the maximum load current to below 200 mA. The ambient temperature might be outside of the specified range; ensure the device is operated within the correct temperature range. A calibration error could also be the cause; in this case, reset the calibration and perform it again. If a test magnet was held against the marking for too long, repeat the function test. Also, check if the device is incorrectly connected by removing the plug and verifying the connection. Finally, if simulation is active, deactivate it.
