6.1.3 Special mounting instructions
Outlet runs for pressure and temperature measuring points
If pressure and temperature measuring points are installed after the device, please
ensure there is a large enough distance between the device and the measuring point so
there are no negative effects on vortex formation in the sensor.

Open aperture flow conditioner
If the required inlet runs cannot be observed, it is possible to install a specially designed
open aperture flow conditioner which can be ordered from Endress+Hauser. The flow
conditioner is fitted between two pipe flanges and centered by the mounting bolts.
Generally this reduces the inlet run needed to
10 × DN with full accuracy.
